Not sure why ATM, but something about this selector is causing problems in feedstock conversion. May require some investigation.

This is very strange. I seem to be able to run conda smithy init just fine on this recipe locally. Not quite sure what the issue is. 😕

Actually it appears this issue happens when using conda-smithy in a Python 3.5 environment, but doesn't occur when using conda-smithy in a Python 2.7 environment. Not convinced the Python versions are the cause, but am sure that they are at least correlated. 🤔

Tried to reproduce with conda-build and was unable to. However, I was able to reproduce this with conda-build-all using Python 3.5, but not with Python 2.7. Maybe there is a bug with conda-build-all. Unfortunately still haven't generated lots of information to go off of. Will raise upstream and see what they say.

Raised issue ( conda-tools/conda-build-all#77 ) upstream with more details about this problem. Will see what they say.
