At the risk of providing a non-expert untested answer, it looks like this might be the arm64 precompiled binary I am looking for: The link named

I expect/hope that in the fullness of time we will have Open3D pre-built binaries for Apple Silicon (arm64), see #6336.
Until then will an 0.18.0 prebuilt x86 binary (such as https://storage.googleapis.com/open3d-releases/devel/open3d-devel-darwin-x86_64-0.18.0.tar.xz) work, via “Rosetta 2”?
