Is there a way to specify some LaTeX environment file—I use a lot of custom commands? For instance with (some) LaTeX environments for Jupyter notebook one can put a file named latexdefs.tex next to the ipynb files, which is quite convenient. Thanks!

Since both nteract and Jupyter Notebook use MathJax to render LaTeX, I would assume that it is feasible although I am not sure what kind of wiring is needed to do this.
I'll tag this feature as help wanted in case anyone is interested in looking at it.
