Hello,

Is there a way to specify some LaTeX environment file—I use a lot of custom commands? For instance with (some) LaTeX environments for Jupyter notebook one can put a file named latexdefs.tex next to the ipynb files, which is quite convenient. Thanks!

There's not a way to do this at the moment.

Since both nteract and Jupyter Notebook use MathJax to render LaTeX, I would assume that it is feasible although I am not sure what kind of wiring is needed to do this.

I'll tag this feature as help wanted in case anyone is interested in looking at it.

Transferring this to the markdown repo because I suspect the fix will need to happen there.
