This is a Keithley 2420 source meter unit controller.
It allows you to control the device remotely.

Class SMUDevice implies some basic functions of this source meter.

For SMUDevice only pyvisa is required

However, for data processing numpy and matplotlib are necessary.

Also, depending on your connection, one has to install required drivers.
For example, GPIB:USB connection requires NI GPIB driver.
